MIRAKURU!

This is the original Japanese name given to MIRRORCLE technology by Professor Hironari Yamada at its inception. Pronounced mi ra ku ru in Japanese, it literally means the future is coming, and phonetically this translates as miracle in English However, in a complex word play, MIRRORCLE is a contraction from the words MIRROR and cyCLE. Mirror is used in recognition of the Photon Storage Ring (PhSR), a unique barrel shaped mirror used to collect infrared synchrotron radiation around the entire electron orbit. Cycle is used as it represents the cyclic nature of the electrons orbiting in the storage ring. Thus the name of the miracle that is the World's Smallest Synchrotron is MIRRORCLE!
