History:
1989 - Photon Storage Ring concept developed by Dr. Hironari Yamada. Construction of the first super
conducting circular storage ring called AURORA by Dr. Hironari Yamada. Success inspires continued
research in this field. We only take over the theory.
1996 - Dr. Hironari Yamada develops new miniature synchrotron theory and proposes the construction of a table top synchrotron specifically for hard X-ray generation. Potential commercial possibilities arise and the formation of Photon Production Laboratory is proposed.
1997 - Photon Production Laboratory, Ltd. is established to commercialize MIRRORCLE technology
as pioneered by inventor Dr. Hironari Yamada.
2000 -
Yamada Laboratory under the direction of Dr. Hironari Yamada at Ritsumeikan University complete construction of MIRRORCLE-20. In December beam injection was succeeded.
2003 -
Yamada Laboratory under the direction of Dr. Hironari Yamada at Ritsumeikan University complete construction of the world's smallest synchrotron, the table top sized MIRRORCLE-6X. In December it functions for the first time.
2004 - In December lasing in a photon storage ring is observed for the first time. This observation follows the theory developed by Professor Hironari Yamada and Dr. Andrey Kleev.
2005 - First MIRRORCLE-20SX installation pioneers X-ray lithography for semiconductor industry.
2006 - We started to devlop "MIRRORCLE-CV series" with ultra compact design. It were designed specifically for medical imaging and non destructive testing.
2006 - The development of a radically new product line employing a permanent magnet storage ring is undertaken. First models are MIRRORCLE CV1 and MIRRORCLE-CV4. To be commissioned in the first half of 2007
2006 - A new 20 MeV model is added to the product line. MIRRORCLE-20ST is intended for use in protein crystallography and materials characterization.
2007 - The European commission has proposed establishing a Research facility called "MIRRORCLE EU Center" in Europe. Five organizations, with Katholieke University of Leuven as the lead participant, are designing beamlines. [
